Native American Programming

KFAI (Minneapolis/St. Paul) airs Regional Native News each Monday from 7:00 7:30 p.m. Indian Uprising, a locally produced _ hour show dedicated to Native American history and storytelling, airs each Sunday from 4:00 -4:30 p.m. Voice of Oromiyaa airs each Sunday from 8:00 - 9:00 p.m., featuring Native American storytelling and history.

WTIP (Grand Marais) Produces First Nations Time, a locally produced 1 hour show featuring Native American music, stories, and customs, produced by members of the Grand Portage Band of Lake Superior Chippewa on Mondays from 4:00 -5: 00 pm. Also airs National Native News, a 4-5 minute piece between 7:00 and 8:00 a.m.

KAXE, (Grand Rapids) Earthsongs is a one hour show featuring contemporary music produced by Native Americans, along with interviews and news. Airs each Sunday from 6:00 - 7:00 a.m.

KUMD, (Duluth) Airs National Native News, a 4-5 minute piece between 7:00 and 8:00 a.m.

KVSC (St. Cloud) airs Anishinabe o DeNong (the small Indian Village in Ojibawe language). This award winning, locally produced is a two-hour look at history, customs, traditions, commentary, news, music and humor. Airs each Monday from 5:00 7:00 p.m.

KQAL (Winona) airs Independent Native News Monday thru Friday from 6:00 7:00 p.m.

Radio K - KUOM (Minneapolis) airs Radio K International Traditional sounds and emerging new genres from across the globe.
